Project: New logo and brand guide
Scope: Design a new logo and brand for a business merger
Details: Investis acquired Zog Digital—a marriage between financial assets managers and digital data reports analysts. The new company became “Investis Digital” and they needed a new brand that reflected the strengths of both companies coming together, starting with the logo. Advantages was one of 3 agencies asked to present several logo options to the board and CEO, Don Scales. The new brand needed to somehow showcase the merging of the two together as well as their proprietary approach “Connected Content”.
Design: The split “s” in Investis creates the illusion of 2 C’s symbolizing “Connected Content”. It also shows the merging of “Investis” and “Digital” through the duotone color. The period from the original Investis logo was carried over, as well as a similar font style from the original Zog Digital logo. Overall, the logo is modern and simple, yet full of meaning. It formed the base for allowing Investis Digital to grow visually and evolve along with its new team. A brand guide was designed to help them build their marketing materials going forward.
