Details: Starboard Yacht Group is the “Pimp My Ride” of the Yachting industry. Their main focus is on high-end modifications including gyroscope stabilization and innovative technology. This business was growing and evolving—steadily bringing in more and more clients. Their website needed to not only generate even more targeted big business, but it needed to reflect the level of expertise and innovation they were already known for (and blow their competitors out of the water).
Results: With the launch of the new website as well as the associated launch campaign, Starboard Yacht saw a $1.9M in new business pipeline within the first year and a 4x ROI on total marketing spend within the first year.

Awards: The redesigned Starboard Yacht website has won Communicator Awards in 3 categories (UX, UI, and Copy/Writing), W3 awards in 3 categories (Website Redesign, Best Copywriting, and Best Art Direction) Davey awards in 2 categories (Transportation and Best Visual Appeal/Aesthetic) and a MarComm award in the B2C category.
The design.
A fresh, marine-inspired color palette was introduced along with digital/oceanic hybrid visuals. A design was created that showed that Starboard Yacht doesn’t just know yachts—they know the ocean—the ebb and flow of the waves, the allure of the open waters, and the seafarer’s heart. Their purpose was broadcasted throughout their site’s visuals and led the user through an informative yet compelling journey in which their trust in Starboard Yacht as industry leaders was solidified and sales made. Within months after launching the new site, website traffic doubled and over $600k of new business was acquired.
